We provide eye examinations, accept nearly all insurance vision plans, and offer a wide selection of frames & contacts. Please see below for further details.

Eye Exams

We provide eye health and vision examinations for glasses & contacts. We fit both soft and rigid gas permeable contact lenses.

Eye Infections / Foreign Bodies

We remove foreign bodies from the eye and treat diseases of the eyelids and cornea, especially those related to wearing contact lenses.

Frames, Lenses, & Contacts

We offer a huge selection of frames, lenses, & contacts. We offer designer brands, as well as more affordable options. Our friendly staff will assist in choosing frames and the right lenses to fit your needs.

Myopia Control

Miami Optical is proud to offer several different Myopia Management treatment options. Myopia Management is a treatment program that will work to slow the progression of myopia.

Payments Accepted

We accept Cash, Apply Pay, Android Pay, Debit Cards, & all major Credit Cards. We accept CareCredit. We also accept HSA/FSA payment options. Further, you may "buy now, pay later" with Afterpay.

Accepted Insurance Plans

Miami Optical works hard to accept as many insurance plans as possible! We are proud to accept all medicaid plans and a large majority of private insurance plans.

We accept VSP, EyeMed, all Medicaid, County Care, Aetna, Davis Vision, Avesis, Superior, Spectera, Humana, CountyCare, Meridian, Illinicare, NextLevel Health, MetLife, March Vision, Blue Cross, and several others. Feel free to call for more information about your plan.

Facilities & Equipment

Miami Optical has a computerized optical laboratory on-site, which allows fabrication of many prescriptions. This drastically reduces turnaround time and lowers costs for our customers! Also, a broad range of contact lenses are maintained for the convenience of our patients. We provide minor repairs including replacing screws and nose pads and adjusting frames.
